School Extension
We’re delighted to have gained planning consent for this innovative build. The need for the extension arises as a result of the poor condition of the existing mobiles which have reached the end of their useful life, and to provide additional capacity to meet demand from displaced pupils from another closeby school which has recently closed.

School Extension
The main issues to overcome were Green Belt considerations, design and visual impact including impact on the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, highways and residential amenity.
Through continued dialogue with the local authority and some re-design to the original submission, a 9 classroom school extension to an existing attractive Victorian building has been achieved. With thanks to Jordan Spittle at the Qube and Jonathan Richie at Chatsworth Schools group for their collaborative approach throughout the design and determination process.
